Problem — Restoring Exchange from a recovered MDBDATA folder (21-March-2008)
You are assisting a business which had a Microsoft Exchange 2003 server that crashed (usually a hard disk crash) or which started showing heavy Exchange corruption. The customer did not have a tape backup of his Exchange emails but somehow you managed to retrieve either the Exchange MDBDATA folder, or, at the very least, the PRIV1.EDB and PRIV1.STM Exchange Information Store files Problem : how to you restore your Exchange system using those files ?
