Nobel Prize in physics

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Two European scientists won the 2007 Nobel Prize in physics on Tuesday for their research on Giant Magnetoresistance.

Eh, so what right ?

Well consider what 1 GB of storage looked like 20 years ago compared to today.  Your iPod, cell phone, etc. would look awful silly using one of these behemoths for digital storage.

There are challenges, and there are CHALLENGES !

Once in a while one reads about incredible challenges that people set themselves and all one can do is sit and admire.

Last year there was that guy who decided to lose weight and walked from San Diego to New York.

Last month, 3 young guys who are expert at Parkour acrobatics in the suburbs of Paris, France, decided to walk all the way to the Southern tip of Africa, through the Sahara desert !!!  They’re on their way as I write this.....  Awesome.

But today’s story tops the lot. It’s a story that leaves you numb, amazed, stunned, awestruck.  A 13-year journey around the globe walking, cycling, pedalling across entire oceans.  It’s an extraordinary story, a Lifetime journey and the journey of a Lifetime.  Unbelievable.  Read it here.
